What is Suomen Latu?
Suomen Latu (Finnish Outdoor Association) is a national outdoor recreation organization founded in 1938. We promote responsible and year-round outdoor recreation. We have over 90,000 members and 176 member associations. We want everyone to find a meaningful way to get outdoors and enjoy nature.
Suomen Latu has volunteers as instructors in the associations around Finland, at Suomen Latu Kiilopää, in the organization’s positions of trust and at major events. Suomen Latu’s member associations run entirely on volunteers.
